Global luxury brand’s California real estate shops are now directly franchised with Americas headquarters
Engel & Völkers Americas today announced it has acquired the brand’s California master franchise rights, inclusive of 26 real estate shops and more than 500 advisors, from previous owner Mathias Bode.
“Mathias has created a strong foundation for Engel & Völkers in key California markets throughout the years,” said Anthony Hitt, president & CEO, Engel & Völkers Americas. “We believe there is significant opportunity for us to further expand our reach in California due in large part to the momentum he and our existing license partners and advisors have ignited.”
California was one of the first U.S. states to introduce Engel & Völkers upon the brand’s emergence into the Americas real estate market. With global headquarters in Hamburg, Germany and a full Americas headquarters in Manhattan, each signature real estate shop will now have a direct licensing agreement with the franchise.
Bode will serve as a founding member of the company’s management advisory board.
Engel & Völkers operates a global network of over 11,000 real estate advisors in more than 30 countries. For more information, visit evusa.com.
