Global real estate brand doubles expansion team with steadfast focus on select markets across the Americas
Engel & Völkers is doubling down on its expansion efforts to open in strategic markets across the US, Canada and Caribbean in 2018. This announcement comes on the heels of the global real estate brand’s strong 2017 performance, readying the company for a projected unprecedented year of growth. In tandem with the company’s aggressive strategy, Engel & Völkers Americas has hired five new franchise sales team members, nearly doubling the current team’s headcount.

With Executive Vice President Jacob Stepan spearheading the expansion team, the industry-respected additions to Engel & Völkers’ franchise sales team include: Bryan Shaffer as Vice President of Expansion, overseeing efforts in the mid-Atlantic US; Don Brown as Vice President of Expansion, overseeing efforts in the midwestern US; Glenn Leingang as Vice President of Expansion, overseeing efforts in the southern US; and Randy Workman as Vice President of Expansion, overseeing efforts in the western US. Furthermore, current Senior Vice President of Expansion Tim Jones will take on a more strategic role in the coming months. Under the mentorship of these seasoned team members, Expansion Manager Alex Dennis-Browne also joins the company’s rank of minted sales professionals, rounding out the team’s full coverage across the US, Canada and Caribbean.
In 2017, Engel & Völkers opened 42 new shop locations in select markets across the Americas, some of which included Seattle, Washington; Charleston, South Carolina; Chattanooga, Tennessee; and Beaver Creek, Colorado in the US; Niagara Falls, Ontario; Oakville, Ontario; and Okanagan, British Columbia in Canada; and new-entry countries Belize and The Bahamas. With focused expansion efforts in the Americas since 2014, Engel & Völkers Americas now consists of approximately 150 real estate shops doing business in five countries with a network of nearly 2,700 real estate advisors.
